Electrical air conditioning for bus drivers
DENSO understands perfectly the requirements that modern air conditioning systems must meet. They must be compact and comprise high-quality matched components with low maintenance costs. So why invest more in cooling capacity than strictly necessary? We offer cooling in the right spot, three installation options and the right balance between low power consumption and sufficient cooling performance.
Our electrical air conditioning systems work with a small, but extremely efficient 60 cc compressor which has a very low starting torque and is driven by a compact 24V electric motor. This offers over 2.5 kW cooling capacity with an average summer time power consumption of about 25A at 24V. The amount of R134a refrigerant used is just 750 grams. With no complex piping to and from the engine, power losses are kept to a minimum.
DENSO’s air conditioning for bus drivers is therefore a responsible investment. But there is more! Our electrical bus driver air conditioning system can be flexibly mounted since the compressor can be installed independently from the vehicle engine, thus saving many installation hours. What’s more the efficiency of our compact cooling cycle has been proved to prevent trouble en route. Combined with DENSO’s service contract the system offers operators maximum comfort for the least financial stress. |
