Many years ago DENSO developed its first robots to eliminate monotonous work and opti-mise production efficiency. We still maximise the use of robots in our own factories to increase automation. DENSO uses about 15,000 self-manufactured robots to produce and assemble our automotive products and systems. Thus we create ideal plants in which people and ma-chines work together to deliver high quality products. More than another 15,000 of DENSO's robots function perfectly in factories of customers all over the world.

In the important small assembly robots' segment, DENSO is the market leader by far with a significant and growing market share. We undoubtedly owe this position to the fact that we sup-ply both four- and six-axis robots within a single production range. Our customers only need one robotic environment for their entire production line. This implies time and cost savings in programming, operation, maintenance and staff training.
