Controller: user-friendly and expandable

DENSO's new E-generation RC-5 controller and associated equipment stands out because of the superior multi-tasking and expandability, for example to control cameras or the conveyor belt. Our robot controller is also highly appreciated because it is very user-friendly. On top of that with 442 x 382 x 140 mm the RC-5 controller is the smallest and lightest in its class. This means it saves space, can easily be integrated in the machine and, at the same time, helps improve the appearance of your production line.

Expandable
The RC-5 controller is expandable with two external axis (up to eight in total), conveyor tracking and vision board. All fully hardware and software integrated. You don't need an additional software licence.

One of the advantages of integrating the vision board in the robot controller is that you will have the same programming environment for the motion or robot program and the vision system. Also no communication programming is necessary between the robot controller and the vision system. It is compact, because the vision system is integrated in the RC-5.

Standard external communication is provided by a RS232.
Two serial ports, Ethernet, Devicenet (master and slave) and Profibus are optional.

Accessories
DENSO offers you the choice between the Mini pendant, an easy to operate and low cost man-machine interface, or the Teaching pendant. The latter has a high functionality but is nev-ertheless easy to understand and to operate. It comes with a 6.5 inch full colour touch LCD TFT screen and has many programming and teaching possibilities, including external axis, vi-sion system and conveyor tracking. The Teaching pendant also has a customisable display to simplify the operating panel.
