Integrated systems
For double deck and single deck vehicles DENSO offers several integrated systems consisting of a cooling unit, a compressor and a condensing unit separately installed in the vehicle or combined in one box. A microcomputer controls the coach temperature and air volume. This is how we always ensure the most comfortable conditions desired.
Environmentally friendly product design and development are DENSO hallmarks. So it comes as no surprise that our air conditioner operates with HFC-134a refrigerant that doesn’t deplete the ozone layer. Moreover the amount of system refrigerant used is almost half of that used by other makes.
EBAC Roof mounted series
These new units put the range in the world top class! Besides excellent cooling, heating and ventilation performance, pos-si-bly the most revolutionary feature of all is the system’s low weight compared to our competitors. Ultra thin it may be, but it has the solidity that you’ve come to expect from DENSO.
The concept of the roof-mounted system is a DENSO standard. But each unit is individually tailor-made to be in harmony with any bus rooftop. Furthermore, no sub-ducts are required.
You don’t have to worry about noise either. The roof-mounted bus air conditioner enhances comfort thanks to newly shaped low-noise condenser fans while the motor’s and dryer’s im-proved life cycle makes for lower maintenance costs. Besides the full optional EBAC concept DENSO offers rooftop units in several sizes providing air conditioning ranging from ‘chill’ to ‘tropical’. |
