DENSO Thermal Systems Europe Launches Pan-European Graduate Programme
WEESP –2008 will be an important year for university graduates. DENSO, a leading global supplier of automotive technology, offers recent graduates a chance to join a tailor-made manufacturing management development programme within its Thermal Systems Europe operations. The DENSO Graduate Programme starts in Italy and, during one year, will take the participants to several European countries, and even DENSO’s headquarters in Kariya, Japan.

The DENSO Graduate Development Programme focuses on both theoretical and practical production knowledge. It takes place in the plants of the DENSO Thermal Group. These plants produce components for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and radiators, which are supplied to most major European vehicle manufacturers.

Currently, eight talented, very motivated, young professionals are participating in the pilot manufacturing management development programme which started April 2007. The first official DENSO Graduate Programme will start April 2008. The participants’ futures lie with DENSO Thermal Systems production sites around Europe.

Manfredo Nicolelli, Managing Director DENSO Thermal Systems: “The group is coached by an experienced mentor with a lot of manufacturing experience. It is our aim to develop our next generation manufacturing management. The DENSO Graduate Programme is a strategic investment in our future."

DENSO Corporation, headquartered in Kariya, Japan, is a leading global supplier of advanced technology, systems and components. Worldwide, the company employs approximately 112,000 people.
