Six-axis: high speed and power

DENSO offers a complete range of six-axis robots. We produce two series of vertical articu-lated robots, the VM series and the VS series both with their own specifications, applications and advantages. Robots in the VM ad VS series can be mounted to the ceiling.

VM series
The medium-sized, vertically aligned robots in the VM series differ from each other in their arm range. Model VM-6083D has an arm range of 1,000 mm and VM-60B1D of 1,300 mm. They both have a maximum payload of 10 kg.

These robots feature high speed and high power. With cycle times of 0.89 and 0.95 seconds DENSO's VM-6083D and VM-60B1D deliver top performance in their class. Compared with conventional models they have a 2.5 times bigger moment of inertia. On top of that, the com-pact dimensions of the VM series robots reduce interference with surrounding equipment and save space. To meet users needs, both models are available with Brake and/or Dust and Splash proof.

VS series
The small-sized, vertically aligned robots in the VS series are available with arm ranges from 650 to 850 mm. They have a maximum payload of 5 kg.

As in the VS series the robots in the VS series feature high speed and high power. With cy-cle times from 0.49 to 0.59 seconds they deliver top performance in their class. Compared with conventional models they have a 2.5 times bigger moment of inertia. The compact di-mensions of the VS series robots reduce interference with surrounding equipment and save space. To meet users needs, both models are available with Brake and/or Dust and Splash proof. There is also a Clean Room model with class 10 specifications.
