Four-axis:

DENSO offers a complete range of four-axis robots. We produce two series of horizontal aligned robots, the HM series and the HS series both with their own specifications, applications and advantages. Our four-axis robots are highly appreciated in the automotive industry.

HM series The medium-sized, horizontally aligned robots in the HM series offer outstanding high speed and accuracy. As for their power: compared with conventional models they have six times the applicable maximum of inertia.

There is a model type for a broad range of applications. The HM series robots are avail-able with arms with a reach from 600 up to 1,000 mm. The enhanced new models have a pay-load of 20 kg and a maximum allowable moment of inertia of 0.45 kgm2 at that payload.

To meet users' needs, all models are available with Brake and/or Dust and Splash proof (IP65) or Clean Room class 10 specifications.

HS series The small-sized, horizontally aligned robots in the HS series are available with arm ranges from 350 to 550 mm. They have a maximum payload of 5 kg. The maximum moment of iner-tia is 0.1 kgm2 allowing flexible hand designs and broad applications. HS series robots offer the highest speed and accuracy in their class. Space-saving models are available for a broad range of applications.

A great feature is that the installation of these robots requires only a small area (150 x 150 mm). This means a 30% reduction in comparison to our conventional models and allow a for facility size reduction. To meet users needs, all models are available with Brake and/or Dust and Splash proof (IP65) or Clean Room class 10 specifications.
